Happy Easter layout – beginner’s color blocking

I’ve been diligently working on Jasmine’s scrapbook. Now my printer has arrived, I really don’t have any excuse to procrastinate anymore. This layout is from Easter. Since I’m new to scrapbooking, I’m trying to do something new with every layout I do. Here, I did some simple color blocking, with quite a bit more embelishment that I’ve done in my last few layouts. I’m not super happy with the layout, but I know that I’ll get better at it as time goes on.

Every year, my Mom mails both of her kids (and her kids’ families!) Easter baskets! It’s a wonderful tradition. Jasmine didn’t quite know what to do with hers. We eventually opened it up for her. She really didn’t care about the toys, until we threw all of the plastic eggs into the bath with her. Then she had a blast!

    What a darling layout.

And you’re so good to be keeping up with your daughters scrapbook. I have a lot of friends who are years if not decades behind on their children’s scrapbooks.

    hugs,
    Mary
