I’ve been struggling with finding time to scrap during the week, but miraculously, Friday afternoon was completely free! I love working in an office with Friday afternoons off, even though it means longer days Monday through Thursday. It was lovely to be able to sit down and actually finish a PL spread in one sitting, instead of having to spread it out through the weekend,
These layouts might be among my favorites yet. Plenty of white space. Plenty of color, without being overwhelming. And lots of details with sequins, buttons, and wood veneer.
I used bits from the July Scraptastic and Citrus Twist kits, as well as buttons and Echo Park paper from my stash. The colors in my photos this week are really vibrant, and I wanted the whole two page spread to reflect that. This was also my first foray into sequins, and I love them! They’re great for balancing out empty spaces or adding a splash of color to an otherwise empty card.
